362 posts · Joined 2018. #6 · Jun 22, 2021. I used to have a '92 Toyota Previa that had swiveling seats. Press a button on the lower front and they'd turn front to back. Had a lap belt attached to the seat for when they were facing the rear, and a standard 3-point belt attached to the van side for facing front. It worked great!

In my case I wanted to route a power supply to a dash mounted GPS placed in the corner so that no cables would be visible and this was made easier by removing this trim piece. It comes off relatively easily and if you are careful, you will not break any clips.
Removing rear seat â 09-02-2015, 02:38 PM. I'm struggling with getting the seat out, as per Gup's instructions in VW AUDI Forum. I can unclip the seat at the front, on the right-hand side fairly easily but the left-side seems to be more intransigent and I definitely can't get the seat to unclip at the rear. Push the button on the right hand side to move the head rest up and insert a small screwdriver into a slot on the outside of the left hand post and pull the headrest out. It's almost a 2 person job. My 08 Q7 doesnât have cold weather package=> no rear heated seats. I heard in the forums that rear seats were prewired with heat elements and all we need is the 4zone AC controller, but I was wrong. I bought the controller with Heated Seat buttons, replaced it and it doesnât see the temperature sensors. Checked the rear seats, and no sign
